Beyond HR: A Morning of Presence, Tea & Connection
Last Friday, the R.E.D. HR Community gathered for a very different kind of HR event.
No slides.
No strategy decks.
No discussions about KPIs, employees, law and HR strategies…
Instead, we slowed down.
Together, we practiced Taiji, explored tea tasting, and took a rare moment to simply be present—with ourselves and with each other.
For many HR leaders, the daily reality is constant problem-solving, supporting teams, handling pressure, and taking care of everyone else first. Events like this are a reminder that HR professionals also need space to breathe, connect, recharge, and feel human beyond their titles.
Throughout the morning, our senses became the focus.
The movement of the body.
The taste of the tea.
The conversations with fellow HR peers.
And the setting made it even more special. Our venue overlooked the beautiful Jing An Temple, with sunshine pouring in, a gentle breeze flowing through the room, and a calm energy that stayed with us all morning long.
A heartfelt thank you to Ophelie, our wonderful tea master, for guiding us through such a mindful and grounding experience.
At R.E.D., we believe strong communities are not built only through business conversations. They are built through shared experiences, meaningful moments, and genuine human connection.
Thank you again to everyone who joined us. We already look forward to the next gathering. 🌿
